New! California Full Time Student Success Grants: Effective Fall 2015. Student Success Grants are given to students who have been awarded a Cal Grant "B" based on eligibility criteria established by the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC). To receive payment of the Student Success Grant for the semester, you must be enrolled in at least 12 or more units, receive a full-time Cal Grant payment and be meeting all Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards. If you are on a Financial Aid Contract, only units from the courses on your contract will count toward your eligibility.
2016-2017 FAFSA: Available 1/1/2016.
Complete if attending the Summer 2016, Fall 2016, Winter 2017, Spring 2017 and/or Summer 2017 semesters. The filing deadline for the 2016-2017 FAFSA is June 30, 2017. The priority filing deadline for the 2016-2017 FAFSA for GCC is April 1, 2016. Click here
2016-2017 CAL GRANT: The first deadline to apply for a NEW Cal Grant “B” (Entitlement and Competitive grants) or a Cal Grant “C” is March 2, 2016. A second deadline for community college students only to apply for a NEW Cal Grant “B” (Competitive grant only) is SEPTEMBER 2, 2016. Students with 16+ degree applicable units from GCC (with a letter grade) automatically have their GPA sent to CSAC. Students who graduated or will graduate from high school in 2015 or 2016 should have their high school submit their GPA.

FAFSA on the Web
The FAFSA is used to determine eligibility for federal and state financial aid at Glendale Community College. It is also used to determine BOG (Board of Governors) Fee Waiver eligibility.
For students who will be attending GCC for the Summer 2015, Fall 2015, Winter 2016, Spring 2016 and/or Summer 2016 semesters the 2015-2016 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be completed to be considered for financial aid for the 2015-2016 award year. Board of Governors Fee Waiver
The 2015-2016 Board of Governors (BOG) Fee Waiver application is available online! You can print the 2015-2016 BOG Application by clicking HERE. This form is used to apply just for the BOG Fee Waiver for the Summer 2015, Fall 2015, Winter 2016 and Spring 2016 terms at Glendale Community College. Remember, a BOG is effective as of the semester the application is approved.
