Glendale Community College (Glendale, California) celebrates Black History Month with a lecture by Mrs. Anita Mackey, granddaughter of slaves, and 98 years old.
The lecture is entitled: "Black and Still Coping." Mrs. Mackey shares her experiences, which include visiting 130 countries and seven continents with her husband, who was the son of slaves.
