DSL 010 (Basic English) is for students who want to improve their writing, spelling, and grammar skills. The course includes all levels of writing from sentences to complete paragraphs which contain topic and support sentences. Small group class lessons are the basis of this course. Independent work in textbooks, and via computer and video are included.
DSL 020 (Basic Math) is for students who wish to improve their skills in the addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Percents and percent problems are also included. Students attend small group classes. In addition, they work independently on worksheets, in textbooks, and on computer. Video lessons are also available.
DSL 050 (Basic Reading) helps students who are just beginning to read, all the way through beginning GED level. Students use texts, workbooks, and computer lessons. Small group instruction in reading skills is also available.
