CERTIFICATE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES

You will also be taking important steps in reaching your academic and job goals when you obtain one of our certificates.

  Students who earn the Beginning Certificate will be able to:

1) apply ESL skills towards successful completion of ESL levels 3 and 4 and Computer Basics for ESL in order to obtain the Intermediate ESL Certificate.

Students who earn the Intermediate Certificate will be able to:

1) apply ESL skills towards successful completion of ESL 5 and/or Advanced Conversation in order to obtain the Advanced ESL Certificate, or

2) apply ESL skills towards completion of a Noncredit Business Certificate or a GED certificate, or

3) apply ESL skills to place into the Credit ESL Program at a Level 2 or above.

1) apply ESL skills towards completion of a Noncredit Business Certificate or a GED certificate, or

2) apply ESL skills to place into the Credit ESL Program at a Level 3 or above.
