    Glendale dropped three games last week to fall to 9-5 overall and o-1 in Western State Conference play. They fell to East Los Angels College 6-5 last Monday in a game that was rained out February 26 and lost to Long Beach City College 8-2 Tuesday and dropped a 4-2 decision to Los Angeles Mission College Saturday in the Western State Conference opener for both teams. In the loss to Mission, Sean Spear and Ellis Whitman each had a pair of hits each abd John La pitched tow scoreless innings of relief.

    The Vaqueros host Citrus Tuesday at Stengel Field at 2:00 p.m., play at Los Angeles Valley College Thursday at 2:00 p.m. and host College of the Canyons Saturday at 1:00 p.m. 


    In a WSC macth hosted by Ventura college last Monday,Glendale finished season in the team competion to College of the Canyons by eight strokes, 382 to 390. Sophomore brennan Amirkhizi tied for second with a 74, Aaron Fernandez tied for sixth with a 77, Danny Fernandez tied for 1oth with a 78, Michael Timpson shot 79 and Chris Ramirez shot 82.

    Glendale plays in a WSC Match Monday at the Santa Maria Country Club hosted by Allan Hancock Monday and hosts the glendale Invitational Tuesday at the Alhambra Country Club. 



    Glendale swept a pair of matches last week and is now 3-0 in WSC play and 6-4 overall. They beat Bakersfield 5-4 last Tuesday and beat Los Angeles Pierce College 5-4 Thursday.

    The Vaqueros play at Ventura college Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. and have a bye Thursday.


    The Lady Vaqs did not play last week and are 4-7 this season.

    Glendale plays at Cypress College Saturday at 1 nd 3 p.m. 


    Glendale dropped a pair of matches to fal lto 1-4 overall and 0-3 in WSC play. The lost to Bakersfield 6-3 last Tuesday and fell to Santa Monica 7-2 Thursday.

    The Lady Vaqs host Ventura College Tuesday and Allan Hancock Thursday. Both matches start at 2:00 p.m.
