Glendale dropped two of three games last week to fall to 14-9 overall and 5-5 in the Western State Confernce Southern Division. They lost to L.A. Mission College 7-3 last Tuesday, beat Mission 7-1 Thursday and lost to Citrus College 16-3 Saturday. Inb the 7-1 win over Mission last Thursday, starting pitcher Thomas Korn got the pitching win and Scott Hong had two hits and an RBI and Sako Chapjian drove in three runs on a three-run homer in the first inning.
The Vaqueros host Citrus Tuesday and L.A. Valley College Thursday at Stengel Field. They play at Valley Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
The Vaqueros are 8-6 overall this season and 4-1 in WSC play after splitting a pair of matches last week, beating Santa Barbara 7-2 last Tuesday abd losing to Middlebury College 7-2 Saturday. Last thursday's match at Bakersfield was rained out and will be rescheduled on April 7. In the win over Snata Barbar last Tuesday, Glendale won five of six matches in singles with Alex Sarkissian, Trevor Campbell, Stephan Mamann, Grayson Frazier and Dro Mahmoudi winning in singles as well as the doubles team of Sarkissian and Campbell.
Glendale plays at L.A. Pierce College Tuesday and hosts Ventura College Thursday. Both matches start at 2:00 p.m.
The Lady Vaqs are now 7-12 overall and 3-2 in WSC South play aftr losing three of four games last week. They were rained out Tuesday against Citrus College, split a doubleheader with Valley College Thursdaty winning the first game 7-4 and losing the second game 11-7. They also dropped both games of a doublheader Saturday at San Diego Mesa losing the first game 7-0 and dropping the second game 8-7. In the first game win over Valley, Glendale pounded out 13 hits in support of winning pitcher Jennifer Meza as Brittany Wright had three hits and Meza and Nancy Pinedo had two hits each.
Glendale hosts Mission Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. and hosts College of the Canyons Thursday in a double header with game times at 1 and 3:00 p.m. All home games are at the Glendale Sports Complex.
The Lady Vaqs lost to Santa Barbara 6-3 last Tuesday and was rained out Thursday against Bakersfield College. That match will be made up Thursday April 7. In the loss to Santa Barbara last Tuesday, Sevana Zargarian and Samantha Sismundo had wins in singles as well as the doubles team of Zargarian and Sismundo.
Glendale, now 3-7 overall and 1-5 in WSC play, hosts Santa Monica Tuesday and plays at Ventura College Thursday. Both matches start at 2:00 p.m.

Glendale did not participate in the meet Friday March 15 at Riverside College.
The Vaqueros compete next at L.A. Valley College Friday April 1 at 1 p.m. in WSC Meet No. 2
The Vaqueros did not have a match this week and play next in a WSC match Monday March 28 hosted by Citrus College at San Dimas Golf Course.
