The course Check-In Assignment is a mandatory requirement for all distance education courses that actively engages students in the course. If students do not complete the course check-in assignment within Orientation Day + TWO working days the course begins, then they may be dropped from the class. Directions to the Course Check-In Assignment will be in the course Welcome Letter sent via GCC email by the instructor 2 days before the semester begins (see above). Students are responsible to retrieve and read the Welcome Letter sent to their GCC email 2 days before the semester begins.
