Tips to complete TAG Application

• Complete the online UC TAG application and submit during the filing period.
• Once your TAG is submitted, fulfill all remaining coursework and GPA requirements designated in your TAG agreement.
• Apply for Admission during the appropriate filing period. Applications are online October 1st and can be submitted during the month of November.
• Student can only submit ONE TAG application.
• Make sure you list ALL courses taken and planned (transferable/Non transferable) they want to see everything. Including what you will be taking FALL 2012, Winter 2013 and Spring 2013.
• Students are strongly encouraged to consult with their community college counselor prior to completing/submitting the TAG application.

UC Davis - Transfer Admission Guarantee Information  UC TAG Application

• To be eligible, complete 30 UC transferable units with at 3.2 - 3.3 GPA depending on major.
• Complete and submit TAG Checklist Submission Period: September 1-30, 2012
• Complete 60 UC transferable units and appropriate major coursework to receive guaranteed admission.
• Former UC students (who left in unsatisfactory standing) are not eligible.
• Apply for admission to UC Davis during the UC. Application filing period, November 1-30.
• Indicate your TAG eligibility on the UC Application.

UC Irvine - TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee) Information

                    WHICH MAJORS WILL PARTICIPATE IN TAG FALL 2014

Complete at least 30 transferable units with at 3.2 GPA  and will maintain a 3.2 GPA through Spring 2012 including one transferable math course and first of two English composition courses with a "C" or better.

• Complete one UC English and UC Math by the end of Summer 2012 and the second UC English by the end of Spring 2013.
• Complete and submit TAG Checklist Submission Period: September 1-30, 2012
• Complete 60 UC transferable units and appropriate major coursework to receive guaranteed admission.
• Apply for admission to UC Irvine during the UC. Application filing period, November 1-30.
• Indicate your TAG eligibility on the UC Application.
  

• Complete 30 UC transferable units with a  2.8 – 3.0 GPA depending on major
• Both UC English and UC Math by the end of FALL 2012
• Complete and submit TAG Checklist Submission Period: September 1-30, 2012.
• Apply for admission to UC Merced during the UC Application filing period, November 1-30.
• Indicate your TAG eligibility on the UC Application.

• To be eligible, complete 30 UC transferable units with a 3.0 - 3.1 depending on major.
  
• Complete one UC English and UC Math by the end of Fall 2012 and the second UC English by the end of Spring 2013
  
• All course work must be completed at a California Community College
• Complete and submit TAG Checklist Submission Period: September 1-30, 2012.
• Complete 60 UC transferable units and appropriate major coursework to receive guaranteed admission.
  
• Apply for admission to UC Riverside during the UC. Application filing period, November 1-30.
• Indicate your TAG eligibility on the UC Application.

UC San Diego - Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) Information   
                         UC TAG Application 

• Must have at least 30 UC transferable units at a California Community College
• Be currently enrolled at a California Community College
• Must have a cumulative 3.5 GPA by the end of FALL 2012 and maintain through the end of Spring 2013
• Both UC English and UC Math by the end of FALL 2012
• Complete and submit TAG Checklist Submission Period: September 1-30, 2012
• You may be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, AB 540, or International Student to apply for TAG
  
• International applicants"B" grades or better in each of you 2 transferable English classes
• Apply for admission to UCSD during the UC. Application filing period, November 1-30.
• Indicate your TAG  and IGETC on the UC Application.

• Complete the last 30 units at a California Community College 
• Must have a cumulative 3.2 GPA by the end of FALL 2012 and maintain a 3.2 GPA through the end of Spring 2013.
• Minimum 3.4 GPA for all major preparation courses for all Engineering and Computer Science.
  
• You must complete the requirements as specified on the UCSB TAG criteria sheet, either for the College of Letters and Science or for the College of Engineering.
• Both UC English and UC Math by the end of FALL 2012
• Complete and submit TAG Checklist Submission Period: September 1-30, 2012
• Apply for admission to UCSB during the UC. Application filing period, November 1-30. 
• Indicate your TAG eligibility on the UC Application.

UC Santa Cruz - Transfer Admission Guarantee Information  UC TAG Application

• Complete and submit TAG Checklist Submission Period: September 1-30, 2012
• Must have 30 UC transferable units completed with a 3.0 GPA
• Complete one UC English and UC Math by the end of FALL 2012 and the second UC English by the end of Spring 2013.  
• Have less than 20 units completed at a 4 year university
• Be currently enrolled at a California Community College
• Apply for admission to UC Santa Cruz during the UC. Application filing period, November 1-30.
• Indicate your TAG eligibility on the UC Application.

• Complete 60 transferable units with 2.0 GPA or 2.4 for Nonresidents
• Complete at least 30 units of General Education either the CSU Breadth or IGETC
• Complete the Golden 4 (English 101, Speech 101, College Level Math, and a Critical Thinking course).
• No restriction except for the impacted Nursing major

CSUN is in the process os revising the TAG program, we will not be accepting TAG agreements until further notice. CSUN has every intention of offering new a new TAG process in the future.

• Complete 60 transferable units with 2.0 GPA or 2.4 for Nonresidents
• Complete at least 30 units of General Education either the CSU Breadth or IGETC
• Complete the Golden 4 (English 101, Speech 101, English 102, 104, 118, Humanities 105, 110, Philosophy 117, Speech 100, 103, 104, Transferable Math course)
• Complete contract with GCC counselor after 15 units at least 1 year prior to transferring
• Only good for majors that are not impacted.

UCLA

• Although UCLA does not have a guarantee admissions agreement, GCC Scholars Program students have priority consideration for admissions to UCLA. Pleases visit scholars program for more info.

 Western Oregon University

• Western Oregon University is please to offer a Transfer Agreement Guarantee (TAG) option and WUE benefits to GCC transfer students. The Western Undergraduate Exchange program offers significant discounts in tuition to California transfer students. Considering further draconian budgets that could happen if Prop 30 fails, this may well be a viable option for some who love the rain and green pastures.
