If you paid your fees, but dropped from all or part of you enrollment by the refund deadline you will be eligible for a refund of the class fees/tuition. Refunds are automatic for those students who dropped their class by the appropriate due date.
Refund Policy for all Students:
- Refunds are automatic for those students who withdraw/drop unit(s) by the due date listed in the schedule of classes and on the GCC website. There is a $10 refund processing fee.
- Request for parking fee refunds must be initiated by students when they return their parking permits during the specific dates indicated in the Schedule of Classes and on the GCC website. There is a $10 refund processing fee.
- A student will be eligible for a refund who withdraws or drops units in accordance with the following:
(A) Fall and Spring Semester - Students must withdraw/drop a class within the first two weeks of a semester length class, or within the first week of a six or eight week class.
(B) Summer and Winter Session - Students must withdraw/drop a class within the first week of a five or six week class.
(C) The student should check the Schedule of Classes or with the Admissions and Records Office for the drop/withdrawal date if a class is of shorter duration than those mentioned above.
Student Fees Office is located in the Administration Building, first floor, lobby area.
NO CASH REFUNDS ARE GIVEN - REFUNDS WILL BE SENT BY CHECK THROUGH THE MAIL THOSE WHO PAY BY CREDIT CARD WILL ALSO BE SENT A CHECK.
