Cross Country - Eddie Lopez led yet another outstanding group of runners in search of another state title. The 2011 women's cross country team captured the California Community College Cross Country Championship at Woodward Park in Fresno. The state crown is the third title won in five years, the last coming in 2007 and 2009. The Lady Vaqs scored the all-time lowest score in state meet history by scoring 30 points.
The 2012 Lady Vaqs finished 2nd at the California Community College Cross Country Championship at Woodward Park in Fresno and Southern California Championship.
Aside from placing 2nd in state and Southern California titles, the Lady Vaqueros captured their eight straight Western State Conference title.
