Leisa Onzo
Born and raised in Northern California, Leisa discovered her true passion at the tender age of five, when she saw Natalie Wood in the movie version of GYPSY. Upon graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Leisa settled in Pasadena, where she resides today. This is Leisa's first production at Glendale Community Collegeand she's grateful for the opportunity to work with such a fine cast and crew. Ashley Ratcliffe
This is Ashley's fourth musical production at Glendale Community College, but she is by no means a stranger to the stage. She has been involved in theatre since grade school and was in several productions throughout her high school career, working in both the production and technical areas. Her most recent work includes: Madame Thernardier in Les Miserables, Lady Montague in Romeo and Juliet, Judith in Hay Fever and Ida Skidmore in Oklahoma. She spread the groovy revolution as a tribe member in the Glendale College production of Hair and she sang her heart out as Meredith Parker in Bat Boy: The Musical where she received the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Irene Ryan nomination. Most recently, she played April White in the Glendale College production of Savage in Limbo where she received another Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Irene Ryan nomination. She was also a part of the production team that went to The Edinburgh International Fringe Festival 2006 in Edinburgh, Scotland for Ken Gray's production of Something's Missing. Ashley looks forward to completing an Associates degree at Glendale College honing her acting and vocal technique with an eye to auditioning for a scholarship to either New York's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at NYU or Juilliard to pursue a serious career on the stage.
