Lin teaches ESL 141 and 146 paired together to give students the opportunity to write about books they have read. This preparation has produced greater student success at the 151 level, a fact that has led to her receiving the John B. Craven Award for Successful Teaching English Composition.
She also coordinates the ESL Collaborative with high schools in Glendale, which provides a rigorous course in college writing skills to better prepare ESL students for college and presentations to students and parents to help them know what to expect in college.
Lin participates actively on the AB 540 Support Committee, Program Review Validating Committee, Staff Development Committee, and Judicial Board.
